All-purpose fertiliser spreaders

FEEDBELT SYSTEM: The 900 series feedbelt system uses an 875mm wide endless belt. The premium grade PVC belt is 3-4 times stronger than a standard 2-ply rubber belt. The system is driven by 285mm drive roller that ensures maximum grip when spreading the heaviest of products. The belt is supported by stainless steel idler rollers with stainless steel shafts running on graphite impregnated nylon bushes, ensuring a low friction and low maintenance drive. The belt is tracked squarely at all times by two tracking rollers located on the underside of the belt.

AXLE/SUSPENSION: The 914T & 916T comes equiped with a self-steering walking beam tandem suspension made by BPW. The suspension provides a smooth ride and turning in the harshest of paddock conditions, the self-steering set of rear wheels reduces crop damage when the spreader is cornering. The rear tyres are hydraulically locked when reversing, preventing dangerous "jack-knife" situations. The suspension assembly can be fitted with optional drum brakes to suit a compressed air system.

SPREAD WIDTHS: The 900 series are fitted with spinner vanes specifically designed to give a highly accurate spread pattern, with spread at widths of between 10-12 metres for lime, and up to 36 metres for granulated fertilisers like urea and superphosphate.
